The accessory that everyone was waiting for now has a date
The official HYBE account dropped the bomb online: the fourth version of the famous BTS light stick is here. And of course, the ARMY went crazy instantly. This isn’t just a shiny toy, it’s the symbol of a comeback that’s been four years in the making.
The South Korean band BTS announced the release to celebrate the start of their upcoming world tour ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG’.
Since they announced that pause in 2022 due to military service, the silence became eternal. The last one to return was Suga in June of last year. Now, with the entire team back together, the tour and this new gadget are the official sign that the party is starting again.
What’s special about this new version?
It maintains that iconic bomb shape that we all know, but they added upgrades. They talk about new light functions, a wider range of colors and special details when you shake it or press the button. It sounds like the shows are going to be an even more immersive viewing experience.
They also promise an improved wireless control system and even an included stand. Although, to be honest, in the comments there are already fans asking if they finally put in a battery that lasts more than two concerts in a row. Some things never change.
The tour is the spearhead to promote their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, which is released on March 20, 2026. For Mexico there are already confirmed dates: May 7, 9 and 10 at the GNP Stadium. And attention: the first free concert in Seoul will be broadcast on Netflix. So even if you don’t get tickets (which is very likely), at least you can watch something from your couch.
After almost half a decade, having a new ritual object to wave at concerts is no small feat. It is the materialization of waiting. Now we only need March 2026 to arrive to see if reality does justice to so much expectation.
