BTS once again conquers Jimmy Fallon’s nights
After a hiatus that felt eternal for ARMYs, the seven members of BTS are ready for their big return. And they will do it in style, with two consecutive appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The dates are March 25 and 26. This is no coincidence. It’s the first move in a massive strategy that accompanies the release of his new album, Arirang, which arrives this Friday.
More than an interview, an event
On Wednesday we will have an interview and a new song. On Thursday, another musical presentation. It is their first time together on a late night since that special week in July 2021. Since then, we had only seen individual appearances.
“Arirang” will be their first album since “Proof” (2022)
The title of the album is quite a statement. It draws inspiration from a Korean folk song, connecting with their roots as they redefine who they are after years of solo projects and mandatory military service.
The expectation has been brutal. Some fans even received handwritten letters with the clue “2026.3.20.” They know how to create hype.
And this is just the beginning. Netflix joins the party with two key releases: a live special on March 21 (BTS: The Comeback Live| Arirang) and a documentary about the process behind the reunion on the 27th.
After so much waiting, it seems that March will finally be the month of complete return. The kings of K-pop are back in the studio.
