BTS is back: everything about ‘ARIRANG’, the album that marks their return
After almost four years, the wait is over. BTS officially announced their comeback as a group with the album ‘ARIRANG’, which will arrive on all platforms on March 19, 2026. The project includes 14 completely new songs and none have been leaked as a single, so it will be a total surprise.
The band shared the full track list, mostly in English:
- Body to Body
- Hooligan
- Aliens
- FYA
- 2.0
- No. 29
- SWIM
- Merry Go Round
- NORMAL
- Like Animals
- they don’t know ‘bout us
- One More Night
- Please
- Into the Sun
On Apple Music there is a bonus: ‘ARMYRANG’, an audio where the members talk about this new chapter.
A title with cultural weight and luxury collaborations
The name is not coincidental. ‘Arirang’ is a fundamental Korean folk song, considered almost an unofficial anthem of the country. UNESCO recognized it as Intangible Cultural Heritage. It speaks of longing, resistance and hope.
“The word can be interpreted as ‘my beloved’ or ‘my dear,’ and its narrative revolves around crossing a difficult pass while maintaining the memory of those left behind,” the statement explains.
To shape this comeback, they brought together heavy producers: Diplo, El Guincho, Mike WiLL Made-It, Kevin Parker (from Tame Impala) and Ryan Tedder. It sounds like they want to make noise.
The comeback calendar: concerts, Netflix and world tour
It’s not just an album. It is quite an event with key dates:
- March 19, 2026: World premiere of ‘ARIRANG’.
- March 20: Special concert “BTS The Comeback Live” in Seoul, broadcast on Netflix.
- March 27: Premiere of the documentary “BTS: The Return” on Netflix.
1. April 9: Start of the Arirang World Tour, which will extend until 2027.
- And yes, Mexico is on the list. Three dates confirmed at the GNP Seguros Stadium in CDMX:
– May 7, 2026
– May 9, 2026
– May 10, 2026.
After years of watching them shine alone, the seven return to the studio. Looks like it was worth the wait.
