Even his friends complained about the ‘wedding’ that never happened
Zendaya laughs, but with a hint of concern. On Jimmy Kimmel Live! she recounted the monumental mess she made of a series of AI-generated images showing her marrying Tom Holland. The craziest thing: even people in his inner circle fell into the trap.
“I would meet people who would tell me: ‘Your wedding photos are beautiful!’, and I had to clarify: ‘They are made with AI.'”
Jimmy Kimmel summed it up perfectly: the photos looked tooreal and exploded all over the internet. Digital creator Juan Regueira Rodríguez published them on March 3 and… bang! Almost 12 million likes later, half the world believed that the couple had said yes.
From digital chaos to the next Spider-Man
Between laughter and a look of ‘I can’t believe it’, Zendaya took the opportunity to talk about what is real: ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, which premieres on July 31.
For her and Tom, this saga is more than just a job. “It’s a key part of our history, we grew up making these movies,” he said, making clear his genuine affection for the project. Knowing that Tom takes his role very seriously is, for her, the icing on the cake.
Their love story, by the way, is almost a Hollywood script: friends on the set in 2016, persistent rumors and a public confirmation only in 2021 after that photo of the kiss in a car. They prefer to keep their own things away from the flash, but when technology invents weddings for them… it’s time to go out and clarify.
