Giovanni Medina has a very clear vision about what it means to be a man in a loving relationship. And he does not hesitate to express it, even when his words generate controversy. Irina Baeva’s current boyfriend was questioned about the conflict between Gabriel Soto and his ex-partner, Ana Carla Sinclair, and he not only gave his opinion, but left a firm position.
It all started when Sinclair claimed in various media that she was Soto’s girlfriend and that for a year and a half he treated her son as part of the family. The actor exercised his right of reply, but Medina went further.
The concept of supplier
Captured at the CDMX airport by the program “Venga la salud”, Medina explained that for him the man must assume a role of care and provision towards his partner.
“For me, the concept of a man is a role of provider, of projector.”
She clarified that it is not a sexist position or belittling the capabilities of women. He simply believes that it is still important to show care through protection and sustenance.
“And I don’t want to say that women can’t, but we have to work hard so that when someone goes out with us, they come out happy, as well as with the smile they saw (Irina),” she said.
His statements caused annoyance in Sinclair and criticism on social networks, where many considered a lack of respect towards his ex-partner. But Medina remains firm.
He took the opportunity to flatter Irina Baeva: “I, to her, am very grateful, I trust her, that is not easy; today, she is the woman of my life.”
The controversy remains open, while the public debates whether his vision is a gesture of chivalry or a reflection of old schemes.
