A goodbye that shakes the world
The news fell like lightning in the middle of the night: Pope Francis, beacon of hope for millions, had left this world. An incredulous silence took hold of hearts, while social networks burned in a torrent of pain. The celebrities, those figures who inhabit the Olympus of fame, knelt before the magnitude of the loss, their words turned into rose petals on an invisible coffin.
Tears of kings and stars
King Carlos III, with his voice broken by the weight of the crown and the mourning, declared: “Our hearts bleed, but they cling to the last message of hope that he left us.”. Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg, the irreverent priestess of Hollywood, burst into tears as she recalled: “He was the living echo of the love of Christ, a giant who embraced even those who doubted.”
The poet Patti Smith, always mystical, found solace in a humble dandelion: “Nature mourns her noblest warrior.” And amidst so much pain, the voice of Russell Crowe emerged like thunder: “Rome woke up bathed in light, but today is a day of universal mourning.”
The legacy that will never die
Antonio Banderas, with the passion of his Andalusian land, shouted to the world: “The man who turned mercy into a flag is gone!”. Meanwhile, Eva Longoria whispered through tears: “Rest, Holy Father, the forgotten will never forget you.” Even Sylvester Stallone, the titan of steel, surrendered to the emotion: “Farewell to the holiest of warriors!”.
The whole world held its breath. The bells of all the cathedrals seemed to ring in unison. And in that moment, millions understood: although the Pope’s body was leaving, his flame would continue to burn in every act of kindness, in every gesture of love. Isn’t this the real miracle?
