Dad of the year version 2026
William Levy got cheesy and didn’t care. The Cuban actor dedicated a song to his daughter Kailey, who just celebrated her 16th birthday. And yes, he sang it himself.
In the video he uploaded to the networks, you can see photos of the party, with his ex-wife Elizabeth Gutiérrez present. But be careful: in her stories she congratulated the birthday girl, but not a mention of Levy. Classic.
The story behind
William and Elizabeth were together for about 22 years, since they met on the reality show “Protagonistas de Novela 2” in 2002. They had two children: Christopher (2006) and Kailey (2010). The relationship was up and down until in April 2024 they confirmed the final separation.
The song: “My Brave Princess”
The lyrics are pure heart. Levy wrote:
“Although the world sees you as a star on the screen, I still see you in your pajamas in the living room… If life turns upside down for me, your hug is the place where I always belong again.”
And it continues:
“Because you are my brave princess, my character in your forehead, my intelligent madness, my reason to change.”
In her post, Levy was full of praise: “They say time flies… but no one prepares you to see your daughter become such an extraordinary woman.” And he closed with a message for the curious: “Yes, I wrote this song for my Princess, called ‘My Brave Princess’.”
Pure dad feeling. Who said that actors don’t know how to compose?
