Last payment of the Welfare Pension is assigned to beneficiaries

The last payment of the year, of 6,200 pesos, is dispersed to a specific group of beneficiaries. Find out which other programs are receiving your support this month.

A Crucial Moment in the Lives of Millions

In the heart of the nation, a decision of epic proportions unfolds, a financial pulse that beats to the rhythm of the hope of millions. The Government of Mexico, in a movement full of destiny, deploys its arsenal of economic support, each one a ray of light directed at a group of citizens in a vulnerable situation. But among all these programs, one emerges with the strength of a titan: the Pension for the Welfare of the Elderly. This aid, a true bulwark for the heroes of our society who have crossed the threshold of 65 years of age, becomes the axis on which the stability of countless homes revolves.

The amount, a figure that resonates like an echo of relief, amounts to the astronomical sum of 6,200 pesos. This is not just any deposit; It is the last deposit of the year, the culmination of a support cycle, a final bonus that covers the months of November and December. The dispersion of these resources, which began its dance the previous week, will reach its dramatic end towards the sunset of this month. And in a twist of fate that keeps everyone on the edge of their seats, the Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel, has revealed that on this very Monday, November 10, the beneficiary letter, the one that will carry the banner of hope, will be the letter “G”. For those whose last name begins with this consonant, the day is marked by providence.

An Ecosystem of Hope: Other Programs in the Spotlight

But the plot thickens, because the month of November is not the scene of a single battle. While the older adults receive their sustenance, other trenches are illuminated with the same brilliance. An alliance of social programs is mobilized, allocating its resources to other fronts of need. The protagonists of this simultaneous epic are: the Pension for the Welfare of Women, the Pension for the Welfare of People with Disabilities and the Support Program for Working Mothers. A symphony of solidarity where every note is essential.

However, in this universe of aid, the Welfare Pension for older adults wins the award for the most considerable amount. The other programs, although vital, operate with different numbers that reflect their specific focus. The Women’s Wellbeing Pension provides support of $3,000 pesos. For its part, the Pension for People with Disabilities provides $3,200 pesos to its beneficiaries. The Working Mothers Program has a different structure, granting $1,650 pesos every two months for each son or daughter in the range of 0 to 4 years. And in an act of profound justice, for boys and girls with a disability, the amount is raised to $3,720 pesos every two months, a respite extended until they turn 6 years old.

The Final Outcome: The Mission to Claim Support

The summit moment then arrives, the final mission that every beneficiary must undertake: claim the desired resource. How is this hope materialized into cash? The road is paved with options. The network of Wellness Banks stands as the main bastion, offering two sacred routes to complete the withdrawal: through ATMs or at tending windows. The most important thing: both routes are free of charges and commissions, an act of purity in a financial world often full of obstacles. There is certainly the possibility of using other banking entities, but this alternative route carries a grim caveat: the application of a certain percentage of commission. The choice, as in any great story, falls to the protagonist.

This is more than just a deposit; It is the final chapter of a year of support, an injection of resources that defines the closing of a cycle for Mexican families. The State machinery has been put into motion, and the outcome, for many, is written with the letter “G”.

CNTE reduces its sit-in in the Historic Center of CDMX

15 days after the strike, the presence of the CNTE in the Zócalo decreases. There are internal differences about continuity.

Fewer blockades and camps

15 days after the national strike and sit-in began in the capital’s Zócalo, the presence of the National Coordinator of Education Workers (CNTE) in the Historic Center of Mexico City has been reduced.

Roads such as Francisco I. Madero, Simón Bolívar, 5 de Mayo and Isabel la Católica have fewer blockages and greater pedestrian traffic. The change contrasts with the first days of protest, prior to the start of the 2026 World Cup.

There are still camps in streets such as Tacuba, Ignacio Allende and Donceles, but the presence of dissident teachers is smaller. In the Republic of Cuba, Palma Norte and Belisario Domínguez, the main facilities continue with kitchens, dining rooms and tents.

Internal differences and continuity

Some members began to remove their belongings. Within the movement, differences persist over the continuity of the strike. There have been internal discussions between those who propose abandoning the mobilizations and those who seek to maintain pressure on the federal government.

Despite the reduction in some areas, the CNTE announced that it will continue with protest actions in different entities. They demand a direct dialogue table with President Claudia Sheinbaum.
