Deadline to collect Rita Cetina Scholarship card
The Ministry of Public Education (SEP) and the National Coordination of Benito Juárez Welfare Scholarships (CNBBBJ) keep active the card delivery days for the beneficiaries of the Rita Cetina Scholarship, aimed at primary school students.
The program seeks to reduce dropouts in basic education. This year it expanded its coverage to families with children enrolled in any primary grade. Each student receives 2,500 pesos annually for uniforms and supplies. If there are two children registered, the support is 5 thousand pesos; with three, 7,500, and so on.
Dates and delivery method
The Banco del Bienestar cards began to be delivered on May 18 and the deadline expires on July 31. According to official data, nearly 7.2 million girls and boys in public primary schools were registered. The goal is for everyone to have their deposit before the 2026-2027 school year.
The SEP explained that the distribution is personalized by campus and area. To know the exact day and time, parents should consult the official WhatsApp channel of their federal entity, available at the link provided by the agency. Only the person who registered can collect the card.
