They reinforce operational training of Civil Protection and Firefighters in La Antigua

The municipal authorities reported that the call for the election of Municipal Agents and Sub-Agents corresponding to the period 2026-2030 is currently in the process of review and approval by the State Congress.

They indicated that this procedure is part of the established legal guidelines, so it has not yet been officially issued. Once the call is authorized, it will be published through official accounts, so that citizens can know the requirements, dates and the participation process.

Finally, the population was urged to pay attention only to official information, in order to avoid confusion or the spread of unconfirmed data.

On the recommendation of the Civil Protection Coordination, the Mercadito La Antigua Emprende was postponed to tomorrow, Monday, February 2, due to adverse weather conditions and the presence of light rain recorded during the day.

The organizers reported that the event will take place at the same previously established schedule, so the adjustment was only made to the date with the aim of safeguarding the safety of exhibitors and attendees.

Likewise, the understanding of the general public was appreciated and the invitation was extended to come tomorrow and support the local entrepreneurs who are part of this activity.

The H. City Council of La Antigua reported that on February 2 there will be no administrative activities at the municipal headquarters, in accordance with the provisions of current legislation.

Through an official statement, the municipal authority specified that, despite the suspension of work, operational areas such as Civil Protection and Public Cleaning will continue to function as usual, in order to guarantee basic care and services to the population.

The City Council thanked citizens for their understanding and reiterated its commitment to keeping essential services operational during this date.
