Robotic assistants for security
President Claudia Sheinbaum and Governor Delfina Gómez presented the CeCi and K5 robots, new assistants of the C5 of the State of Mexico, in Toluca.
CeCi is an artificial intelligence assistant that supports monitoring operations, location analysis, facial recognition, license plate reading and tactical drone use. She also answers 911 calls and specializes in cases of violence against women.
K5, for its part, is a dog-shaped robot that patrols and collects information on the ground. Its deployment seeks to improve emergency response.
Sheinbaum observed a conversation with CeCi during the morning conference. Governor Gómez thanked the federal support to integrate new security technologies.
The implementation of these robots represents an advance in the use of artificial intelligence for crime prevention and citizen service.
