The host of Ventaneando once again addressed the controversy generated by his statements about dogs in public spaces. Pedro Sola assured that he is not a bad person and that he is willing to repair the damage.
The controversy began when the economist and presenter made unfavorable comments towards dogs, which unleashed a wave of criticism on social networks. The TV Azteca program had already tried to calm the situation with a live apology last week and the reading of a joint statement with Pati Chapoy and her colleagues, where they showed commitment to animal rights.
This Tuesday, July 21, Sola returned to the topic during the broadcast. Accompanied by Jimena Pérez “la Choco”, Mónica Castañeda and Ricardo Manjarez, he explained that he has joined a campaign in favor of canine well-being.
“Educate myself and raise awareness on the issue of animal education… at the end of the day, I’m not a bad person, I said things I shouldn’t have, but hey… I’ve understood my mistake.”
The drivers reaffirmed their commitment to supporting associations dedicated to animal protection. Sola emphasized that both on a personal level and in the program they are taking actions to rectify the situation.
