Jaime González, father of singer Christian Nodal, broke his silence in the face of rumors of an alleged legal claim filed by his son. The version that circulated in the media indicated a dispute over the rights to the music and the name of the Sonoran artist.
No legal conflict
In a conversation with different media, González was blunt: there are no judicial problems and Nodal does not plan to sue him. “There are no problems or anything, we are calm. We don’t have money issues, we do have communication, I spoke with him two days ago. I have never kept anything that is not mine,” he stated.
Rights and the future
González explained that the rights to the Christian Nodal brand have been in his name from the beginning. “I have always had them because I am the investor and I am the creator of the career. Christian has always known that,” he declared. However, he left open the possibility of transferring them. “Let him mark me and we can free ourselves whenever he wants. I don’t have any problem.”
Regarding the current relationship, she highlighted her son’s maturity: “He is more mature, he doesn’t need me to take care of him like when he was younger.”
