Inter hits a wall, but the crown is still close
Friend, Inter stepped on the accelerator… and almost went off the track. But don’t worry, the title is not in danger.
Simone Inzagui’s team let a two-goal lead slip away at Torino’s home and drew 2-2. A pity, because with a victory they could have been happy this weekend if Napoli failed. But hey, that’s how it is.
Thuram and Dimarco, pure magic
Marcus Thuram opened the scoring with a lethal header from Federico Dimarco’s pinpoint cross—his 17th assist this season, an all-time Serie A record. Yann Bisseck then doubled the lead with another header.
But then the maroon storm arrived.
Torino’s express comeback
Giovanni Simeone closed the gap with a great goal: oriented control, magical backheel and dive over the goalkeeper. And in the 79th minute, Nikola Vlasic nailed a perfect penalty after a handball from Carlos Augusto. Draw.
Even so, Inter leads Napoli by 10 points with four games left. Come on, they have half a Scudetto in their pocket.
Pulisic, worrying drought
On the other hand, Christian Pulisic has gone 16 games without scoring for Milan—equaling his worst streak at Chelsea two seasons ago. The 0-0 draw against Juventus does not help to calm the doubts.
Milan remains 12 points behind Inter… although they still dream of the Champions League.
So yes, friends: Inter lost two points today, but no one takes their smiles away. The process remains firm.
