The money arrives, letter by letter
The federal government continues to release the resources of the Rita Cetina Scholarship for the two-month period that has already passed, March-April. The idea, they say, is to prevent families from abandoning school due to lack of wool.
This Monday, April 13, it was the turn of surnames that begin with N, Ñ, O and P. Everything is done in stages so that chaos does not break out at the windows.
The amount of the scholarship is 1,900 pesos every two months per family with at least one student enrolled in public primary or secondary school.
And there is an extra: 700 pesos more for each additional child registered. For the basics: notebooks, uniforms, tickets.
How and when does aid fall?
The deposit goes directly to the Wellness Card. They can withdraw cash at the bank of the same name or use it wherever they accept it.
The calendar continues like this:
- April 14: Letter R
- April 15: Letter S
- April 16: Letters T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z
They recommend checking carefully the date that corresponds to them. The scholarship is one of those programs that, in theory, should lighten the heavy financial burden of having children in school.
