A work day focused on bringing employment opportunities to people looking for work was held on the ground floor of the Casa del Pueblo of Coatepec, as well as promoting direct contact with recruiting companies and institutions, strengthening the link between citizens and the productive sector.
The activity was attended by the Secretary of Labor, Social Welfare and Productivity of the state, Luis Arturo Santiago Martínez, who recognized the support of the municipal administration headed by Mayor Jorge Ignacio Luna Hernández, by facilitating this type of actions that directly affect the economy of Coatepec families.
During the day, vacancies were offered for harvest work that included comprehensive welfare conditions, such as lodging, food and daycare services for girls and boys from 3 months to 11 years of age, which allowed expanding access to employment without neglecting the family environment.
Likewise, information was provided about the process of joining the National Guard, a job alternative that offers approximate earnings of 21 thousand pesos per month, once the corresponding requirements and evaluations have been met, opening the door to options for stability and professional development.
As part of a medium-term employability strategy, the job training courses offered by the Labor Training Institute of the State of Veracruz (Icatver) were also disseminated, aimed at strengthening skills, certifying knowledge and expanding the job opportunities of the participants.
With this event, the Coatepec City Council consolidated an inter-institutional coordination policy aimed at generating employment, improving income and raising the quality of life of the population, placing people at the center of public action and translating government attention into concrete results.
