The conditional optimism of the private sector
The Center for Economic Studies of the Private Sector (CEESP) launched its weekly analysis. And the message is clear: Mexico has opportunities, but with a huge asterisk.
Despite the challenges, the country maintains a productive base with the capacity for recovery. It is driven by domestic consumption, employment and investment in strategic sectors.
“There are elements that allow us to anticipate a gradual improvement if the conditions of legal certainty are strengthened,” said the organization.
There is the key. The fine print of every optimistic forecast. Improvement is not automatic; It is subject to progress in generating a more favorable environment for business.
The recipe: collaboration and projects
The CEESP emphasizes that dynamism depends on public-private collaboration. Aim at projects that promote infrastructure, innovation and regional competitiveness.
Finally, it closes with the expected conclusion: with appropriate policies and greater stability, the economy could regain its rhythm. A potential that, according to them, is there, waiting for conditions to release it.
In short, the diagnosis of the private sector is a map of opportunities with a broken compass. They know where they want to go, but they ask someone else to fix the path.
