The last battle in the headline war
Another week, another chapter in the endless saga between Cazzu and Christian Nodal. This time, the voice that is raised does not come from an angry tweet, but from the Ventaneando studio. And it is forceful.
Pati Chapoy doesn’t mince words. In her program, the journalist launched a direct attack against the Argentine trapper. His message was crystal clear: enough talking.
“I don’t know why Cazzu complains, when she has been the only one who has dedicated herself to using her little problem or her emotional situation to make herself known here in Mexico and elsewhere,”
Chapoy said, recognizing Cazzu’s talent but criticizing his communication strategy.
Pati’s (not so subtle) advice
The final request was what made the networks break. Without a filter, Chapoy advised:
“Cazzu, stay quiet now, mamacita, take care of your daughter, receive the wool she gives you and that’s it, but does she want more?… oh,”
while his colleagues on the set commented on the situation.
When collaborator Arturo Castañeda pointed out that Cazzu was once again putting his daughter Inti in the middle of the conflict, Chapoy only managed to exclaim: “Ya chole!”.
To finish with a touch of classic drama, he compared Cazzu’s acting with the style of the Argentine actress Libertad Lamarque: “everything was crying… finally Argentina, what an outrage!”.
Where does all this come from?
The trigger was a publication by Nodal with Ángela Aguilar set to music with Rosita, a song that refers to their wedding. Cazzu responded with a long reflection on patriarchal pacts and parental abandonment.
Nodal defended himself by arguing that he is waiting for a legal resolution for visits and support, since he considers Cazzu’s financial requests for his two-year-old daughter disproportionate.
Networks divided (as always)
Chapoy’s comments have divided opinions. Some agree with him and ask Cazzu to “lower him.” Others accuse Pati of being unbiased due to his closeness to Nodal and the Aguilar family.
This is not new. Chapoy had previously criticized Cazzu, even questioning her ability to fill the National Auditorium… something that the Argentine did achieve on her Latinaje tour.
At the end of the day, it’s another round. Meanwhile, Inti continues to grow and the headlines continue to spin. The show must go on.
