When announcing the venue, Bosch sent a message to the participants:

“The reality is not chasing a crown, it is seeking to become the woman who could hold it and who could do good things with it, because at the end of the day, what is measured is the impact of the lives that you can change, when you have the platform.”

Fátima added that she has not yet met the 32 candidates, but she will do so during the concentration prior to the final. He pointed out that several of them promote social projects that they will seek to strengthen with the title.

During the previous days, the candidates will participate in eliminatory activities: swimsuits, evening dresses, interviews with the judges and tours of emblematic sites in Los Cabos.

The winner will represent Mexico in Miss Universe, whose international pageant will be held at the end of the year.

New accusations in the United Kingdom

Eric del Castillo recovers after artery surgery

92-year-old actor underwent surgery for arterial obstruction; recovers at home.

Eric del Castillo, 92, underwent a procedure to unblock arteries in both legs. The intervention occurred last weekend, and the actor is already at home, according to his daughter Verónica del Castillo.

The surgery was performed after a cardiologist detected a blockage in the iliac arteries during a routine check-up. The actor was originally scheduled for treatment for chronic back pain, but doctors prioritized correcting the circulatory problem.

“They discovered that the arteries in both legs were blocked. The diagnosis was arteriosclerosis,” Verónica explained. “If not treated, it could cause thrombosis. Fortunately, it was detected in time.”

Surgeons placed a stent in each artery through catheterization. The procedure was outpatient, although the actor remained under observation for three days. “His heart is very good,” added the communicator.

Now, Eric del Castillo is recovering at home, he is already walking without help. In two weeks he will be evaluated to decide if he is ready for the next intervention: a block in the lower back to relieve pain from a displacement in the spine. “It was something violent because of the horse falls in his films, without doubles,” said Verónica.

The family has decided not to inform him of the death of Elsa Aguirre, a great friend of the actor, so as not to affect his spirit before the next surgery. “I prefer to have him emotionally strong,” concluded Verónica.

“My dad is grateful and happy, he never loses his good mood after any intervention.”

Eric del Castillo will celebrate his birthday at home, with a simple meal and few guests, as his daughter plans.

Grupo Firme defies the rain and brings together 65 thousand people in the GNP

65 thousand people brave the storm to see Grupo Firme in CDMX.

No rain to stop them

Not even the electrical storm that hit Mexico City prevented Grupo Firme from performing its tenth and eleventh presentation at the GNP Stadium. Before 65 thousand attendees, the Tijuana group offered “The Last Peda.”

“We were close to having our concert canceled due to lightning, but… Up to Mexico City and pure Grupo Firme!” said Edwin Caz, the group’s vocalist.

With songs like “Typic classic”, “Se fue la pantera” and “Congratulations”, the stadium became a popular party. Pranks, dances, viral videos and romantic advice marked the evening.

“Gentlemen, leaving the Grupo Firme concert with a three-meat hamburger and heading straight to the motel,” said Edwin, laughing.

Special guests included El Flako, El Yaki, Los Ángeles de Charly, Joss Favela, Raúl Beltrán and Moy Bobadilla. The latter recognized Caz as his musical godfather and promised to have his own date at the venue in 2027.

After performing “Difficult Mode”, Edwin reflected on the group’s trajectory and called for unity among Mexicans.

“Grupo Firme has had ups, downs, again ups, again downs and again here we are in the ups, old man and they have never seen us speak badly of any artist, because that’s not how we Mexicans have to be. We have to support each other among Mexicans, my respects to all the artists. And remember, you have to be equal and Mexico… Mexico is cool, bastard!”, he noted.

Despite the return of the rain during the video for “Benefit of the doubt”, which shows the Angel of Independence in a storm, Firme remained on stage for more than three hours. They said goodbye with “What a lost wave”, “Get over me” and “Thank you”.
