Lambda García reveals the hard road after her emergency surgery

The actor is recovering after emergency surgery for two serious herniated discs, after ignoring signs from his body.

Lambda García returns home after a surgery that could have been worse

The Mexican actor is back home. Last weekend he revealed that he underwent emergency surgery for two herniated discs that were causing him unbearable pain.

On their networks, Lambda said that the discomfort was such that they could neither stand nor sit. He went through a lot of studies: MRIs, neurological tests, leg exams… everything to understand what was happening.

An operation that was not easy

The thing was not direct. He first entered the hospital, but the intervention was postponed. He had to wait for his health insurance to approve it due to the high cost. They discharged him with an arsenal of medicines.

“I bring a lot of medicine… you don’t know how terrible the pain is,” he said then.

The actor himself acknowledged that part of the fault was his. He describes himself as someone intense with exercise, especially deadlifts. Although he was already feeling discomfort and slowed down for a while, he continued making brutal efforts such as carrying furniture or flower pots.

“The doctor tells us that human beings are not prepared to carry. I started to get injured,” he commented in a video.

The last straw was a trip to Brazil. There he continued with demanding physical activity despite the pain. The situation got so bad that the medications stopped working.

“While in Sao Paulo, on March 19, I coughed and that was enough for my nerve to be pinched and I fell,” he said. “I had to get an injection to be able to walk.”

He returned to Mexico on March 27, but at the airport he already needed medical assistance. There he knew that this was not going to go away on its own.

The final diagnosis and recovery

Finally they performed lumbar microsurgery. The diagnosis: two damaged disks, L4 and L5.

“L5 was a mess; the doctor said it is one of the strongest injuries he has seen in a patient my age,” Lambda said.

The hernia measured 3 by 3 centimeters, when the normal size is one. The doctor didn’t understand how his leg continued to function; With that damage, he could have lost mobility in his foot.

The operation was successful and now comes the most boring part: recovery. You should avoid physical exertion for almost a year, wear a girdle for a month and be very careful in the next few days.

Its final message is clear: address any discomfort in time. Don’t ignore the body’s signals like he did. Sometimes being intense comes with a very high price.

Tom Holland disqualified in Spider-Man stunt contest

The actor was eliminated from the contest that he organized with Zendaya.

An infiltrator in the competition

As part of the promotion of Spider-Man: A New Day, which premieres on July 29, Tom Holland and Zendaya crashed a stunt contest for the spider hero. Without revealing his identity, Holland competed against content creators seeking the title of “Spider-Man’s Double.”

Between somersaults and web tosses, the actor demonstrated his skills. But the jury, headed by Zendaya and Spanish YouTuber Ibai Llanos, disqualified him. The reason: being the real Spider-Man, he could not be considered a double.

Reactions and virality

At the end, Holland revealed his face. The participants, fans of the Marvel character, were surprised and recreated the famous Spider-Man meme pointing at each other. The video, published just a day ago, has accumulated almost 4 million views.

The crossover between streamers and Hollywood stars generated waves on networks. Users celebrated the creativity of the promotional team and Holland’s naturalness in integrating without being detected.

The disqualification of the actor became a trend and added divided comments: some see it as a brilliant marketing move; others claim that the contest lost authenticity. However, the strategy achieved its objective: to maintain attention on the premiere.
