The actor faces pain that “does not allow him to stand or sit”
The news reached us through their networks, like almost everything now. Lambda García, that actor we have seen in so many soap operas, ended up in the emergency hospital after a trip to Brazil.
It turns out that what started as a simple annoyance turned into something more serious. In a video that he later deleted (classic on the networks), he thanked his followers for their affection while clarifying the situation.
“There has been a lot of speculation… thank you for all your messages, for all the love”
The diagnosis is not at all simple: two severe herniated discs in the spine. The situation is so complicated that the pain has literally paralyzed him.
“It doesn’t let me stand, it doesn’t let me sit… all this has been strong”
Now comes the tricky part: you need spinal surgery. But here’s the millennial/modern/absurd detail of the matter: you have to wait for authorization from your health insurance because the procedure is very expensive.
Imagine: in disabling pain, knowing you need surgery, and having to navigate insurance bureaucracy. A nightmare in several acts.
García remains hospitalized while they resolve the payment issue. His case reminds us of that fragile line between public life and the very private (and painful) problems that anyone can face.
