The comment that sparked the controversy

Content creator Luis Arturo Villar, known as Luisito Comunica, became a trend after receiving criticism and aggressive messages from BTS followers. The incident occurred on July 19, during the 2026 World Cup final between Argentina and Spain in Miami.

During the halftime show, the South Korean group performed Dynamite. Luisito posted a video on Instagram saying that no one reacted to the show. “No one got excited about BTS. But really NO ONE,” he wrote.

In the same clip, he added: “It’s really funny, you can tell we’re at a football fan event, because the BTS one just came out, the Korean guy is very famous, and I don’t see anyone really excited.”

Excuse me with an ironic tone

Hours later, the YouTuber uploaded another video. This time, he apologized to the ARMY community and revealed that he had received thousands of insults and threats. “I’m scared, let me know. It’s not a joke, I’m really scared. I woke up to thousands of messages from very angry people, insulting me, threatening me,” he declared.

With a sarcastic tone, he added: “I know they are capable of destroying lives. I want to apologize to them and I hope we can be friends.” He assured that he made a mistake and that, contrary to popular belief, he enjoys the group’s music.

The video accumulated divided reactions between those who supported his comment and those who considered it a provocation. As of this writing, neither Luisito nor BTS representatives have issued additional statements.

The British actor attended the fan event held in Aztlán Parque Urbano. He explained that the fourth installment could not ignore the outcome of No Way Home, when Peter erased his identity from everyone’s memory to protect his loved ones.

“The most important thing was not to run away from the consequences of the previous movie. Peter made a huge sacrifice and now he lives with it. It’s painful because we all want him to have the things that any human being deserves. But now he’s facing all of that completely alone.”

Night of rain and ovation

Minutes before Holland arrived, the place was already packed. The intense rain did not disperse the hundreds of fans waiting for the Marvel superhero.

The actor did not arrive alone. He was accompanied by Zendaya, his wife and co-star, and director Destin Daniel Cretton. They were received with cheers, whistles and applause. Zendaya even danced to the song “Zendaya, sister, you’re already Mexican!”

A young promise of cinema

Kaylee Hottle, the actress who played Jia in the two installments of Godzilla vs Kong, died at the age of 18 after a road accident in Maryland. Her father, Joshua Hottle, confirmed the news to TMZ after traveling from Texas to claim the body.

The accident occurred on the morning of Tuesday, July 21. Joshua learned of the incident while Kaylee was being taken to the hospital, but his heart couldn’t resist. The authorities informed him of the death later.

A career marked by inclusion

Kaylee debuted at age nine with a commercial for a messaging app created for people with hearing disabilities. She and her father were deaf, and much of her family belongs to the deaf community. In the Godzilla vs Kong saga (2021 and 2024), he gave life to Jia, who communicates with the monster using sign language. Jia lives on Skull Island along with Dr. Ilene Andrews, played by Rebecca Hall.

In an interview with Young Entertainment last April, Kaylee spoke about the challenges of playing Jia:

“I think the most challenging part is patience. There are so many things that require a lot of patience, there is a lot of waiting and a lot of repetition. I had to realize that it was something I had to accept if I wanted to continue bringing this character to life.”

His departure leaves a void in the industry and among his fans, who will remember his talent and his legacy of representation for the deaf community.
