Ye is back (and you can watch it from your couch)
After 16 years without setting foot on Mexican soil, Kanye West finally returns. On January 30 and 31, the Plaza de Toros México will be the scene of its long-awaited Ye Live. The last time he was here was in 2008, with his Glow in the Dark tour. Now he promises something much bigger.
And here comes the best part: if you didn’t get a ticket or you simply prefer to avoid the pitched subway battle, there is an option. Both concerts will be broadcast live via streaming through Vix Premium.
“It’s not just a concert; it’s a sound story”
This is how the official site describes the experience. Each night will be different, so you can purchase access for a specific day or the entire package. Prices are $25 per night or $35 for both dates (a 30% savings, so you don’t feel so bad spending on this instead of groceries).
Digital tickets are now available on Ye’s official website. You just need an internet connection and probably some good headphones to recreate the vibe.
It’s funny to think that the last time Kanye came to Mexico, many of us were still using Facebook to upload pixelated photos. Now we can see it from our cell phone. The world changed, he changed, we changed. But the music, that’s still the magnet.
Are you going or are you going to watch it from home with your cat? Both are valid options in this era.
