‘The only one to blame was me’: D’Alessio speaks clearly
Jorge D’Alessio is setting the record straight. In a rare appearance at the Mexico City airport where he did stop to talk, the music producer was more open than ever about his separation from Marichelo.
And his message was forceful: the responsibility is completely yours.
“We talk almost daily, we are now in very good communication, (there is no lawsuit) nor will there be”
He denied any confrontation with his wife and revealed that they maintain constant contact. But the most interesting thing came when he explained why they came to this point.
With the phrase that many could understand, he said that “there are times when love wears out a little”. He immediately clarified that Marichelo has had “impeccable” behavior throughout their marriage.
The door is still open
“I told you the other time, she is absolutely a queen, the only one to blame for this was me, that is the reality”
D’Alessio not only accepted his mistake, but also hinted that divorce is not a decision made. In fact, there seems to be hope for a solution.
“I’m fine, I’m calm, I want to have a nice relationship with the mother of my children, who is still my wife”
And he added the key thing: “I haven’t divorced yet, we don’t know if we will get divorced, let’s let time speak for itself.”
The couple’s three children – Ana Paula, Santiago and Patricio – are already aware of the situation. Both parents chose to be transparent with them from the beginning.
“You already understood, all this (the press) and what real life is has already been explained to you”
Meanwhile, D’Alessio insists on something: although they are lifelong partners in parenting, that other door… that of the romantic ‘forever’ is still not completely closed.
