A takeaway fight combo?
The scene is worthy of a reality show: Ice Spice, the queen of munch, chatting with a friend at a McDonald’s in Los Angeles. The peace is broken when a fan—or someone claiming to be a fan—runs up and asks the friend to move so she can sit down. Spoiler: he didn’t end up ordering some fries.
The 26-year-old rapper asks him to leave, however, the woman continues her argument.
What followed was a quick exchange of words, a slap of the hand, and suddenly they were tangled in a fight in front of the tables. Hair pulling, scratching, the whole menu. A third person intervened to remove the woman from the premises, but Ice Spice was not ready to close the order window.
He chased her jumping over the tables with an energy that would make any personal trainer pale. The drama jumped to the parking lot, where in another video the artist is seen grabbing the cell phone of a companion of the other person and… well, supposedly sending it to the nearest garbage container.
The versions (and the lawyers) enter the scene
As in any good drama, there are two sides. Ice Spice’s legal team, led by Bradford Cohen, has already filed a complaint with the police.
“We will take every possible legal action to hold those responsible accountable,” Cohen said.
But according to TMZ, the other woman, identified as Vayah, says she just wanted to express her admiration and that Ice Spice rudely insulted her first. A classic ‘she started it’.
And the protagonist? He took a moment between punches to tweet with that millennial irony we all love: “This wouldn’t happen at Wendy’s.” A touch of absurd humor to season the chaos.
The networks are divided: some defend her tooth and nail, others criticize her reaction. But one thing’s for sure: This story has more layers than a Big Mac. And probably more legal consequences.
