The war changed its face
It is no longer just artillery and trenches. The war between Ukraine and Russia entered a phase where drones dominate the sky. And the figures are chilling.
In March alone, Ukrainian forces shot down more than 33,000 Russian drones. This was reported by the Minister of Defense. A madness that shows how these devices became our daily bread.
“This is a record number that reflects the growing magnitude of airstrikes,” the official said.
Ukraine responds away
But it’s not all defense. kyiv also hit hard with long-range drones, capable of hitting targets within Russian territory. We are talking about a refinery and an oil terminal in the Black Sea, hit repeatedly.
Local authorities ordered preventive evacuations in nearby areas, fearing further damage. This is no longer a conflict contained in a border.
What this means
As a mom who watches the news with my teenage daughter, I always ask: What’s next? Because when one country attacks the other’s energy infrastructure, the escalation is real. And families, both there and here, pay the price.
The question now is not whether drones will change warfare—they already have—but how much further this can go without everything blowing up.
