The snub that ended in an invitation

Some time ago, Tom Holland told The Tonight Show that he tried to invite Erling Haaland to dinner after meeting at the Monaco Grand Prix. He never received a response. “That makes you humble,” the actor joked.

Now, the story took a turn. After Norway’s elimination from the World Cup, Haaland reacted to the video of the program on social media and wrote: “I accept the invitation. A little late. Just tell me the place.”

The Manchester City forward confessed before that he did not know who the Spider-Man interpreter was. That’s why he ignored the message. Holland, for his part, has called him “incredible” and “absolute legend.”

So far, the actor has not responded publicly. But the exchange generated expectations among both of their followers. The meeting could finally take place.

Eric del Castillo, about to turn 92, underwent an emergency catheterization. The procedure was performed after doctors detected blocked arteries in his legs during tests prior to lower back surgery.

His daughter Verónica del Castillo explained in an interview with First Hand what the intervention consisted of: “They performed a catheterization to insert a stent, open the artery. 85% of the right leg and 30% of the left were blocked.”

“A catheterization is to intervene with a puncture of the iliac artery, at the level of the groin. They insert a thin needle, inflate it with a balloon and put a mesh that allows 100% of the blood to flow.”

Fortunately, the actor is already home recovering. In two weeks he will undergo lumbar surgery, this time without general anesthesia.

The family decided to hide the death of their friend, actress Elsa Aguirre, from her. Verónica commented: “Just in the morning I sent it to the family chat. My mother told me: ‘Don’t even think about telling her because she does get depressed, with this type of news, especially when they are such dear friends from the artistic world that there are fewer and fewer of them.'”

Aislinn Derbez confessed that to work again with Mauricio Ochmann in the film “Hasta el fin del mundo”, she had to resort to therapy. The actress explained that it was her therapist who gave her the certainty that she was ready to face her ex-husband on set.

During the film’s premiere, held in Mexico City, Derbez detailed how therapy was essential for the filming to flow smoothly.

“At first I said: ‘this is going to be very difficult, it’s going to be very uncomfortable,'” he recalled.

The couple was married from 2016 to 2020, they have a daughter together and participated in the reality show “On a trip with the Derbez.” Although they have always maintained mutual respect and admiration, the work reunion was not easy for her. “Until the end of the world” was a project that both had had since they were dating. After the separation, Aislinn took it up again, but Mauricio insisted on acting in it.

After consulting with her therapist, she received the answer: “You’re ready and you’re going to break everyone’s minds,” the actress said, laughing. Already on set, the dynamic was natural.

“Once we were recording it was so nice and so easy to do them together that I said I wasn’t wrong, it was worth it (the therapy),” he added.

On the red carpet, the public asked for a kiss between the two, and Mauricio joked about doing it, supported by Aislinn.
