The South Korean group BTS kicks off its annual anniversary celebration this Wednesday, the BTS FESTA 2026. After the commotion generated by its visit to Mexico in May, the band now focuses its energy on global followers, known as ARMY.
The festival lasts two weeks and commemorates the group’s debut, which occurred on June 13, 2013. This year has a special flavor: it is the first with the full lineup after almost four years of absence of some members due to military service.
Confirmed activities
The agenda starts with the group’s annual photo, a tradition in force since 2014. On Thursday the video for “Hooligan”, the song from the recent album ARIRANG, will be released. Then two documentaries will arrive: Normal Log and 13 Side Film, with intimate moments of the septet.
Next week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, RUN BTS 2.0 returns, the variety show produced by the members themselves.
Special release of ‘Come Over’
On June 12, BTS will release “Come Over”, a song that until today only existed on the deluxe vinyl edition of ARIRANG. The song was produced by Suga. Simultaneously, a limited edition vinyl edition with the album cover will be released.
Closing concert
The celebration will end in Seoul with a concert at Busan Main Stadium on July 12 and 13, as part of the ARIRANG tour. After passing through Mexico, BTS toured North America and closed with 15 presentations in the country.
