Arantza Ruiz, actress of soap operas such as Vencer elpast and Eternamente loving us, is the tenth confirmed member of the fourth season of La Casa de los Famosos (LCDLF). His parents, actor Alejandro Ruiz and producer Socorro Méndez, were not surprised by his decision.
“They told me I’m crazy, but since I’m an adult I can do what I want,” she confessed.
The singer and gamer also recognized the risks of the format: some celebrities have gained popularity, others have faced criticism. However, he is confident that this opportunity comes for his benefit.
Expectations inside the house
Arantza wants a fun atmosphere. “I hope it is a very fun house, I feel that the people who go there really want to have a good time,” he said. Although he is aware of the controversies of past editions, he believes that the production will prioritize entertainment over conflicts.
His main fear: his humor. “I have black and politically incorrect humor. I’m afraid that they won’t understand that it’s a joke, because comedy is very delicate,” he explained.
No fixed strategy
Despite knowing nine of the 15 participants, Arantza does not plan a strategy. “I feel like any strategy falls apart, because here the rules change,” he said. He knew in January that he would enter the reality show, which allowed him to finish recording the telenovela Land of love and courage, which premieres in September in the United States and in October in Mexico.
The actress joins a diverse cast: Ernesto Laguardia, Karina Torres, Ximena Herrera, Aldo Rendón, Moisés Peñaloza, Cynthia Klitbo, Yahir, Flor Vigna and Masad Altamimi. “I love that there are actors and singers with experience. I want to learn from them,” he commented.
His goal is to reach the final, but he knows that the format takes him to the limit. “I hope I don’t reach my limit. If I stay a week or reach the final, I will be satisfied that I dared,” she concluded.
