World Cup preparations in Nuevo León
The Tunisian National Team will arrive in Monterrey this Monday to establish its concentration base for the 2026 World Cup. It is the first team that will play matches at the Monterrey stadium to settle in Nuevo León.
The “Águilas de Cartago” will train at the El Barrial facilities. After their arrival, they will carry out adaptation activities before formally starting preparation for their World Cup debut.
The team led by Sabri Lamouchi will face its seventh participation in a World Cup. Tunisia aims to get through the group stage. They will play two matches in Monterrey territory: June 14 against Sweden and June 20 against Japan, both at the Monterrey stadium.
The arrival of Tunisia marks the beginning of World Cup activity in Nuevo León. This will be one of the Mexican venues for the tournament, which expects to receive thousands of fans during the competition.
