The most anticipated celebrity weddings in 2026

Next year the world of entertainment will vibrate with weddings that promise to be epic. Discover all the exclusive details.

A Fairytale Ending for the Princess of Pop

The heart of the entire universe stopped for an eternal moment. In 2008, a young and dreamy Taylor Swift wove with her tears and dreams the immortal ballad “Love Story“, a hymn inspired by the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, but with an outcome that defied fate. Oh, the irony of the cosmos! Eighteen years later, life would imitate art in the most spectacular and moving way. Her own winding path to love will find its glorious culmination in 2026, when the undisputed princess of contemporary music joins her destiny forever with her hero, American football titan Travis Kelce, colossus of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The official announcement, made public on a Tuesday that will be etched in the history of entertainment, shocked the most remote corners of the planet. The news unleashed a whirlwind of frantic speculation: Who will design the dress that will dress the most famous bride of the millennium? In which paradisiacal corner of the world will the ceremony be held? Who will be chosen to witness the oath of love? What will be the song that accompanies your first dance as husband and wife? Even the taste of the cake became a state mystery, a secret better kept than any national treasure. But be careful, because this celestial drama does not have a single protagonist.

A Star Cast for an Unprecedented Wedding Season

The narrative becomes complicated, because love is in the air and the smell of orange blossoms will fill Hollywood. Swift and her beloved Kelce are just the beginning of an epic saga of engagements and diamond rings. The world is preparing for a year of celebrations that will rival any cinematic blockbuster.

Zendaya and Tom Holland, whose on-screen characters already made us believe in the love between a hero and his girl next door, lived a clandestine romance that they denied for years with the ferocity of a secret agent. Their initial meeting dates back to 2016, on the filming set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” The tension was palpable, the chemistry electric. Until 2021, an intrepid photographer captured the irrefutable evidence: a stolen kiss that confirmed what we all suspected. Love had defeated the secret. The climax of her story came in 2025, when Zendaya appeared on the Golden Globes red carpet wearing a dazzling jewel on her ring finger. The official confirmation of their engagement came shortly after. Although their exhausting schedules—she immersed in the desert in “Dune 3” and him hanging from a spider web in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”—forced the big day to be postponed, they hope with all their heart that their wedding will finally be consummated in 2026.

Meanwhile, another queen of music, Selena Gomez, was writing her own love score with the prodigious producer Benny Blanco. Their symphony began in 2019 with the collaboration “I Can’t Get Enough.” After a constant whisper of rumors that grew like an orchestral crescendo, the singer, in an act of sublime bravery, confirmed the relationship to her army of followers on social networks in 2023. A year later, the coup d’état: a photograph on Instagram showing a shiny engagement ring along with a message that made millions cry: “Eternity begins now.” According to unassailable sources, their wedding is planned for this September in the exclusive enclave of Montecito, California. And in a perfect twist of script, her soul sister, Taylor Swift herself, will supposedly have the supreme honor of being in charge of throwing the bridal bouquet.

The list of protagonists of this wedding drama does not end there. Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner experienced a infatuation so instantaneous and powerful that it left everyone breathless. It all started in 2024, when the pop music diva was seen supporting the heartthrob at the premiere party for her series “Masters of the Air.” From that fateful moment, there was no force on earth capable of separating them. Turner, in a gesture of absolute devotion, personally designed a custom engagement ring for his beloved, secretly consulting with his closest friends and his sister, Rina, to ensure that every inch of the jewel was perfect.

And south of the border, a Mexican-style passion burns intensely. Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar promise one of the most anticipated weddings on the Latin scene. Their romance, born under controversy and the fiercest public scrutiny just 18 days after the singer’s breakup with Cazzu, has proven to be stronger than any criticism. After a spiritual connection in eternal Rome and a civil marriage, they have promised a religious ceremony in 2026 that promises to be an event full of folklore, emotion and tradition, consolidating their place as the most media-worthy young couple in regional Mexican music.

The world held its breath. The stage is set. The protagonists are in their place. The year 2026 is emerging not as a simple year, but as the Year of Weddings, a definitive chapter in the great book of showbiz love where every “yes, I do” will resound like thunder. Are you ready to witness history?

Aylín Mujica talks about the loss of her son Mauro Menéndez

Aylín Mujica reveals details of her son's death and clarifies speculations surrounding his departure

In an exclusive interview with the Telemundo program La Mesa Caliente, the Cuban actress and host Aylín Mujica broke the silence about the death of her first-born, Mauro Menéndez, which occurred on July 17. Mujica explained that she decided to speak out earlier than planned to stop the rumors and send a message of strength to other mothers facing a similar situation.

“I was not ready to give an interview but, if it is with you (Verónica Bastos), she is not going to do an interview, she is going to tell, clarify, narrate, give strength to all the mothers who have gone through this.”

The events prior to death

Mujica said that while recording the new season of Top Chef VIP in Colombia, his son Mauro traveled to Miami to visit his grandmother and his younger brothers. There he developed a bad cold that he did not want to treat. His uncle took him to the emergency room, but Mauro refused to go in and opted to take his flight to Barbados, where he had a DJ commitment.

The actress tried to dissuade him over the phone. He told her that he was already at the airport, in a wheelchair, but that he had to leave. The next day, Mauro contacted her to inform her that he had gone to the hospital in Barbados, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and prescribed antibiotics. He felt good, in his own words: “they already gave me antibiotics, I feel 100%.” That was 24 hours before his death.

Critical hours

In the afternoon, Mujica tried to communicate with his son without success. At 10 p.m., a friend of Mauro responded: he had suffered three seizures while playing soccer. The ambulance arrived late and he was intubated. The doctors revived him seven times, but his heart couldn’t resist.

“The doctor told me that they found a clot in his lung, a clot in his heart.”

Mujica clarified that he did not speak with his son while he was being transferred, as was reported in other media. He could only say a few words to him when he was already unconscious. After receiving the news, he immediately traveled to Barbados.

The actress asked for respect and asked people to stop spreading false information about what happened.

Global effect: streaming soars after halftime show

11-minute performance drives artist views on digital platforms.

The first World Cup halftime show, broadcast from the outskirts of New York, not only captured global attention for eleven minutes. He also left clear figures on streaming platforms. Madonna, Justin Bieber, BTS and Shakira were part of a performance that generated notable increases in digital views.

How much did the views grow?

Luminate, a firm specializing in music industry data, compared the views of each song performed two days before the final (Friday and Saturday) with those on the following Sunday and Monday. The results:

  • Justin Bieber – “Everything Hallelujah” rose 110%, going from 592,000 to 1.25 million global views.
  • Madonna – “Music” increased 66%, from 193,000 to 321,000.
  • BTS – “Dynamite” grew 43%, from 2.14 million to 3.05 million.
  • Shakira and Burna Boy – “Dai Dai”, the official anthem of the 2026 World Cup, registered a 24% rebound globally (from 14.78 to 18.27 million). In the United States, the increase was 52% (from 1.68 to 2.55 million).

Impact limited to the show’s repertoire

Luminate noted that the increases were concentrated on songs played in the field, not artists’ entire catalogs. This phenomenon is similar to what happens after the Super Bowl halftime show. For example, Bad Bunny, after his record-breaking performance this year, saw a 175% increase in streaming of his catalog in the United States the day after the event.

The data confirms that a high-profile performance remains an effective platform for reactivating musical interest, even if the effect is limited to the pieces performed.
