Operational in Sinaloa
Elements of the Secretary of the Navy (Semar) dismantled three clandestine laboratories used for the production of synthetic drugs in the towns of Los Haros and Los Cedritos, in Sinaloa. The facilities would be linked to the criminal faction known as “Los Mayos.”
During the operation, the authorities seized more than four tons of methamphetamine, as well as chemical precursors and various materials used in its manufacture. Elements from the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) also participated in the actions.
The Security Cabinet reported through social networks that what was seized represents an estimated economic impact of more than 923 million pesos for criminal structures.
“In the Security Cabinet we continue to weaken the operational and financial capabilities of criminal organizations,” the agency said.
The seizure is part of the actions to stop the production of synthetic drugs, prevent them from reaching the streets and strengthen the rule of law, according to authorities.
