The open door by Raúl Jiménez
Raúl Jiménez continues to be active in European football, now as a striker for Fulham. His performance in the Premier League keeps him one of the most prominent Mexicans abroad. However, the gunner’s future could include a return to Mexico.
In an interview with TUDN, Jiménez spoke about the possibility of returning to América, the club where he began his professional career. The player made it clear that he does not close any doors.
“Now I am focused on having a great World Cup. I have never closed the door to returning to America and it would be something nice,” he declared.
The Mexican attacker has his sights set on his fourth World Cup participation, scheduled for 2026. His experience in competitive leagues in Europe, including Fulham, has strengthened his profile as a top striker.
A possible return to the azulcrema team excites the fans. Jiménez would be a significant reinforcement for América and also a symbol of the success of Mexican football abroad. For now, the forward is focused on the National Team, but keeps open the possibility of wearing the Águilas shirt again in the near future.
