Five individuals, considered key players in a sinister machine of terror, have been dragged before the cold light of a court to face the weight of the law. Their names, Luis Ricardo, Abraham, Miriam Modesta, Verónica and the infamous María de Jesús, alias “La Tania”, now echo in the halls of the state Attorney General’s Office as an echo of their alleged fall from grace.
The atmosphere was charged with electric tension when the judge, a titan of the administration of justice, handed down the sentence that would mark their destinies. Firearms shone under the dim light, pointing at the heart of his security, while they demanded the astronomical sum of fifty thousand pesos per month. Together with his cronies, again under the false flag of AMOS, he launched a threat that chilled the blood: abandon the property or suffer the irreparable consequences against his family. It was an impossible choice, between home and the lives of loved ones.
The capture of these five suspects was not a task for a single hero.
