The question flew all over the networks as soon as ‘Un waltz’ was released: “Is it me or does the model look like Cazzu?”. And no, it’s not you. The actress who stars in Christian Nodal’s new video clip has a more than passing resemblance to Julieta Emilia Cazzuchelli, his ex and mother of his daughter.
For many, this is no coincidence. It’s pure strategy. Nodal and Ángela Aguilar (his current wife) have learned to surf the controversy since they made their romance public. What better way to maintain the hype than with a nod to your high-profile past?
“Don’t stain, I was scared!!! Did anyone else think it was Cazzu? It’s just the same,” wrote a fan.
The curious thing is that the teaser of the song announced it with Ángela, wet in the rain. We all thought she would be the protagonist. But not. The surprise was a woman with features that are a perfect mix: the short hairstyle is reminiscent of Angela, but the face… that face is pure deja vu of Cazzu.
