Nicki Minaj and her controversial greeting to Trump with AI

The rapper generates controversy by sharing AI images where she appears next to Trump, unleashing criticism and memes.

The strange couple of Nicki Minaj and Donald Trump, according to Artificial Intelligence

Nicki Minaj can’t get enough. In the middle of Presidents’ Day in the United States, the rapper decided to say hello… but not to just anyone. His choice was, again, Donald Trump. And the middle, a series of images created with Artificial Intelligence that are already going around everywhere.

In the AI-generated photos, both appear dressed in pink satin, counting wads of cash on top of a luxury car. Minaj shared the image with a simple “happy #presidentsday.” Simple, right? The internet didn’t take it that way.

The reaction on networks was a hurricane

Most of the responses were negative. Many users took the same AI template to create their own versions. The special guest in the back seat? Jeffrey Epstein, the scandal-linked figure who has also been associated with Trump in the past.

Since Minaj showed her explicit support for the Republican, her popularity has fallen. But this is what most baffles his former followers: the incongruity.

Years ago, during the first Trump administration, the artist expressed her horror at the immigration policies that separated children from their families. She herself came to the United States as an undocumented immigrant at the age of five.

“I came to this country as an illegal immigrant at the age of five, I can’t imagine the horror… this scares me so much, please stop this,” he wrote at the time.

That same person is the one who now publicly celebrates the former president. It is a twist that many fail to understand. Change of mind? Strategy? Or just another chapter in the strange romance between show business and the most polarizing politics?

For now, the machine-made pink images are the latest symbol of an alliance that continues to divide opinions and generate memes galore.

Patricio Cabezut faces a Father’s Day without his daughters

The driver shares his pain over the distance with his daughters on a symbolic date.

Patricio Cabezut lived a Father’s Day marked by the absence of his two daughters. For four years, the driver has not had contact with them, following the lawsuit for alleged aggravated sexual abuse filed by his ex-wife, Aurea Zapata, in 2024.

The song of absence

Instead of family photos, Cabezut shared a song he wrote on social media: “Invisible wounds”. He accompanied the topic with a video in which he appears with glassy eyes and talks about the silence that separates him from Lucía and Fátima – names of his daughters, minors.

“I have discovered a new way of inhabiting the world, it is like when you dive to the bottom of a pool and the water creates a bubble that isolates you from everything,” he expressed in the clip.

The presenter linked his emotional state to the legal process: “Depression flirts with you all day, especially in the mornings when you get up, if you manage to do it before noon.”

The daily emptiness

Asked by the program Venga la joy, Cabezut clarified that pain is not exclusive to special dates: “Many more days where these girls have not been with their father. It is understanding that it is the life we are having to live, with the hole in our stomach.”

He remembered the closeness he had with them: “We were dad and two girls who did all the activities together. Having a two-hour program allowed me to be absent only in the morning when they were at school.”

He stated that his daughters also miss him: “Their dad continues to fight for them, he continues to raise his voice for them. I know that they love me and miss me.”

So far, Aurea Zapata has not issued statements regarding Cabezut’s words. On her networks, she shared an image with phrases like “I never learned to hate” and “I sleep peacefully with the certainty that I have a huge heart.”

Verónica Merchant: the difficult balance between acting and motherhood

The Mexican actress talks about the challenges of combining her career with raising her children.

The challenges of motherhood in acting

With 30 years of experience, Verónica Merchant confesses that her biggest challenge has not been playing characters, but rather balancing her profession with motherhood. Married to actor Daniel Martínez and mother of Alexis and Valentina, the actress recognizes that the pressure to comply on all fronts was constant.

“It was not easy. One of the challenges of being a woman trying to fulfill yourself in a career like acting is also being a mother. You must learn texts, take care of your image, be emotionally available for the characters and respond to the media. But at the same time you come home and continue being a mother. There are many roles happening at the same time,” she says in an interview.

Merchant points out that, although she had the support of her husband, the responsibility for the household fell primarily on her. “I had a great partner and a lot of support from him, but even so I was the one who was on top of everything. It is an enormous responsibility,” he says.

The actress also reflects on gender double standards. He explains that for years he felt the need to prove that he could succeed without neglecting his family, a requirement that is rarely applied to men.

“If we have children we are judged, and if we don’t, too. If we focus on our career, we are questioned for not being mothers. And if we decide to be mothers, then we are questioned for continuing to work. We must do everything perfectly,” she points out.

That personal experience connected her in a special way with the themes of her most recent work in the telenovela “Doménica Montero”, where she played Pilar Rivas, the villain’s mother.

“I didn’t see the other versions, but Doménica is a strong woman from the beginning, someone who falls, gets up, makes mistakes and finds redemption. Not everything is based on anger; there is also compassion,” she says.
