Martínez de la Torre, Ver. – Taqueros of the municipality, in coordination with members of the Associated Press journalistic group, are fine-tuning preparations for the third edition of the Taco Festival, which will take place on March 15.
As part of the organization, representatives of the committee held a meeting with the mayor of Martinense, who reiterated his support and willingness to provide logistical support so that the event could be held successfully, reported Leobardo Zamudio, member of the organizing committee.
Zamudio highlighted the enthusiasm that exists among local taqueros, who are confident that this year the attendance recorded in previous editions will be exceeded. He recalled that between 25 and 30 thousand people attended the first festival, while in the second edition, held for two days, a massive influx was recorded despite the adverse weather conditions.
With the support of the municipal authorities, the José María Mata central park will host artistic and cultural activities that will accompany the gastronomic offer, with the aim of attracting more visitors and generating greater economic benefits for the benefit of the municipality.
