Martínez de la Torre, Ver.– With the aim of preventing diseases and protecting the health of the population, the City Council of Martínez de la Torre, through the Health Directorate, called on citizens to get vaccinated against measles, a highly contagious disease that can cause serious complications.
Municipal authorities warned that measles represents a greater risk for girls, boys and people with low defenses, which is why they stressed the importance of keeping vaccination schedules up to date as a fundamental prevention measure.
They highlighted that the vaccine is free, safe and effective, and is available in the municipality’s Health Centers, so they invited families to attend in a timely manner to protect themselves and care for their loved ones.
The municipal government reiterated its commitment to public health and prevention, and invited the population to consult additional information through the City Council’s official website.
