Martínez de la Torre, Ver. – With the aim of strengthening road safety and protecting pedestrians, the H. City Council of Martínez de la Torre began the beacon work in different pedestrian crossings in the city.

The actions are carried out through the Municipal Traffic and Roads Directorate, in coordination with the Urban Mobility Headquarters, as part of a strategy to improve mobility and order on the busiest roads.

The marking will allow greater visibility and a correct delimitation of the spaces intended for the safe crossing of pedestrians, contributing to a more orderly circulation for both drivers and pedestrians.

Municipal authorities highlighted that these works are part of the local government’s commitment to generating safer and more accessible environments, prioritizing accident prevention and more efficient urban mobility for the benefit of citizens.

Martínez de la Torre, Ver. – With the aim of strengthening security and promoting a culture of peace, the H. City Council of Martínez de la Torre announced the implementation of the Arms Exchange Campaign “Yes to disarmament, Yes to Peace”.

The event will take place on February 5, 6, 9, 10 and 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the José María Mata Park as its headquarters, located in the Centro neighborhood.

Martínez de la Torre, Ver.– With the aim of preventing diseases and protecting the health of the population, the City Council of Martínez de la Torre, through the Health Directorate, called on citizens to get vaccinated against measles, a highly contagious disease that can cause serious complications.

Municipal authorities warned that measles represents a greater risk for girls, boys and people with low defenses, which is why they stressed the importance of keeping vaccination schedules up to date as a fundamental prevention measure.
