Maribel Guardia modified her will. The actress reported that she will no longer leave all of her assets to her grandson, but only a part. The decision was made known after Addis Tuñón was appointed testamentary guardian of the minor.
“I will make some provisions, I no longer plan to leave him all my assets, but a good part; there was a part that I considered leaving him, but not now,” he said in an interview with Come the joy.
The change occurs in the middle of the legal process he faces with his daughter-in-law, Imelda Garza Tuñón. The new guardian will be the one who oversees the child’s testamentary interests.
Guardia explained that there are already assets in his grandson’s name, which will be given to him when he turns 30. “I have some things already in the child’s name, of course, which will be given to him when he is 30 years old, since he is an adult and makes his own decisions.”
Annoyance due to the tutor’s statements
The singer also showed annoyance at Tuñón’s first statements. The guardian indicated that she would seek to remove Marco Chacón, Guardia’s husband, as executor of the estate of Julián Figueroa (deceased), as well as request an accounting.
“This lady is so happy, she looks like the first lady of the Republic, ‘my first motion is that they dismiss Marco,'” she said, imitating Tuñón.
Guardia clarified that neither she nor Chacón have any interest in continuing as executors. Furthermore, she is surprised that Tuñón is a tutor, since she never visited her grandson in the eight years he lived with her. “They presented the motion in October and, in November, we answered the judge that we had no interest; this person is not going to defend the child, he is going to defend the mother, I never saw her around my house.”
Finally, the actress expressed resignation at the possibility of not living with her grandson. “I leave it in the hands of God, may God be with my child… I have had to let go since what happened to my son, which has been the bitterest pill of my life.” He stated that, although it hurts, his heart already knows pain.
