The sky is filled with German wings
The airline Lufthansa is not messing around. Given the hunger for connectivity between Mexico and Germany, the German company announced that it will expand its presence at the AICM with new frequencies to Europe.
The play? Two additional flights per week on the Mexico City-Munich route, starting the next winter season. This was confirmed by group executives, who see this decision as a direct response to growing demand.
“Demand between Mexico and Germany remains strong, and we want to keep up,” said internal sources.
It is not a simple whim. It is a calculated bet: Munich is a key hub to connect with the rest of the Old Continent. And the AICM, despite its challenges, remains the preferred gateway for business and tourism travelers.
For those looking from below, this means more options and perhaps more competitive prices. But it also reflects something deeper: confidence that Mexico continues to be a magnet for international trade and travel.
So now you know: if you plan to cross the pond this winter, you will have two extra tickets to get on the plane. The political-economic theater does not let up, but at least this time the script seems to have a happy ending for the passengers.
