Platform X presents new interruptions
Users of the social network X (formerly Twitter) reported problems using the platform this Friday morning. Complaints began to circulate on other networks such as Facebook and Instagram.
What exactly is happening?
It all started shortly after 9:00 AM. When people tried to refresh their timeline, a message would appear saying, “content cannot be retrieved at this time.”
The company behind X has not issued any official statement about what happened. For now, we only have speculation about the root cause of the problem.
But specialized media point to a clear culprit: Cloudflare. This company is the main provider of cybersecurity services for the platform. A problem in their systems could explain the widespread outage.
The funny thing is that this is not an isolated incident. Last Tuesday, X had already suffered a similar fall that lasted several hours. That time it affected users in several countries, including the United States, France and Mexico.
Two major failures in less than a week. For a platform that handles millions of interactions per minute, this pattern is worrying. Users are beginning to wonder about the real stability of the technical infrastructure.
In the meantime, we have to wait for the technical team to solve the problem and restore normal service for everyone.
