X (formerly Twitter) once again demonstrates that stability is an abstract concept
Oh, surprise. On the morning of May 23, users of the social network Problems in the application? What a novelty! Errors in uploading via web? We would never have imagined it!
Downdetector confirms the obvious: X is still a disaster
According to reports from Downdetector (the site that makes a living by documenting our technological failures), 70% of the reports were for failed login, while 18% complained that the platform loaded slower than a bureaucratic procedure. The other 12% were probably too busy cursing in all caps to report anything.
But wait, it’s not the first time. Yesterday there were also failures! Could it be that X is trying to break a record of instability? The complaints returned around midnight, because Musk clearly loves that his users sleep with the uncertainty of whether the next day they will be able to see memes or just a nice error message.
So far, there are no visible improvements, but it is hoped (with faith worthy of a believer in unicorns) that functions will be restored soon. That is, “soon” in social media time, which can mean five minutes or five centuries.
Moral? If today you managed to enter X, enjoy it… because tomorrow you may not be able to. And if you didn’t make it, welcome to the club. At least we have Downdetector to feel like we’re not alone in this bottomless pit of technical errors.
