The White House played Kesha and the singer did not remain silent
It turns out that the official White House TikTok posted a pretty intense clip in early February. A military plane is seen launching missiles at a ship, all with “Blow” by Kesha as the soundtrack. Yes, that catchy song we all danced to in 2010.
Kesha found out and was understandably not amused. He took to his Instagram stories to drop the bomb.
“It has come to my attention that the White House used one of my songs to incite violence,”
He wrote, making it clear that his music is not soundrack for war conflicts. He described the government’s position as “disgusting” and rejected linking his work with that type of message.
“I absolutely do not approve of my music being used to promote violence of any kind. Love always overcomes hate,”
He added, pointing out the “flagrant disregard for human life”that the video represents.
But Kesha didn’t stop there. He used the momentum to touch on another hot topic: the Epstein files.
“Let’s not let this distract us from the fact that criminal predator Donald Trump appears in the files over a million times,”
He launched, directly connecting the musical controversy with much more serious accusations.
So far, total silence from the White House. Although this is already a classic: artists vs. politicians using their songs without permission. Kesha simply joins a long list of musicians who have had to say “enough.” The question is: is anyone in Washington listening?
