BTS returns to the US, but the audio did not cooperate
BTS finally returned to the gringo stages after a long time. Three concerts in Tampa, Florida, as part of their Arirang tour. But the start was not as epic as they expected. Technical failures lowered the volume on the excitement.
On the 25th, while they were playing “Magic Shop”, one of the fandom’s favorites, the audio sounded very uneven. The septet’s voices sounded uneven, and fans on networks like X were quick to voice their complaints. Someone even recorded Jungkook singing softly, and the video went viral. According to ARMY accounts, the singer repeated his part a cappella to save the moment.
“Yesterday’s ‘Magic Shop’ sound problem is true. Don’t worry, I will fix the tone starting today,” Jungkook wrote on Instagram.
And he finished with: “I’m sorry for ARMY who came to the show. I’m angry too.”
Yes, the boy knows that his followers deserve the best. And it shows that he was also frustrated.
What’s next for the tour?
The group performs again this Wednesday the 28th at the Raymond James Stadium, before continuing through North America: El Paso, Los Angeles and Toronto. The last time they were in these parts was in April 2022, with Permission to Dance on Stage in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Mexican fans are already marking the calendar: May 7, 9 and 10 they will have their dose of BTS. This tour is one of the group’s largest in the region: 31 concerts in 12 cities. I hope the sound lives up to the hype.
