F1 returns to Sepang

Formula 1 will return to Malaysia after nine years. The Bahrain Grand Prix, originally scheduled for that country, has been rescheduled for October 4 at the Sepang circuit. This was reported by F1 and the FIA ​​on Sunday, subject to approval by the World Motor Sport Council.

The change responds to adjustments in the calendar. Sepang is located between the Azerbaijan and Singapore races, allowing better logistics for teams and drivers.

The Malaysian track, known for its technical design and unpredictable weather, was a regular venue for the championship between 1999 and 2017. Its return raises expectations among fans in Southeast Asia.

The last edition at Sepang was won by Max Verstappen in 2017. Now, with new generation cars and a renewed grill, the event promises emotions. The FIA’s final decision is expected in the coming weeks.
