A surgical blow to organized crime
It all started with intelligence work. The Secretary of the Navy, the SSPC and the FGR joined forces and carried out searches in several properties in Chiapas. The objective: dismantle a transnational drug trafficking network.
Result: two people arrested, seven firearms, cartridges, magazines, tactical equipment and two vehicles seized. It was not just another operation. It was a direct blow to the group’s operational and financial structure.
“These actions generated an impact of 2.8 million pesos on the operational and financial structure of the group,” the authorities reported.
The properties and everything insured were left at the disposal of the authorities to continue with the investigations. The question that remains in the air: who is still in the crosshairs?
