Three-city circuit for Group J
Group J of the 2026 World Cup was made up of Algeria, Argentina, Austria and Jordan. The group stage will be played from June 16 to 27 in three cities in the United States: Kansas City, San Francisco and Dallas. The stadiums will be Arrowhead Stadium, Levi’s Stadium and AT&T Stadium.
Day 1: June 16
The group starts with two games on June 16. Argentina faces Algeria in Kansas City, while Austria and Jordan debut in San Francisco. All four teams go into action on the same day, with venues split between the Midwest and West Coast.
Day 2: June 22
The second date also has a double bill, but the map changes. Dallas hosts Argentina vs Austria, and San Francisco repeats as host for Jordan vs Algeria. Jordan plays its first two games at Levi’s Stadium, while Argentina changes cities compared to its debut.
Day 3: June 27
The final is held on June 27 with two simultaneous matches. Algeria vs Austria is played in Kansas City, and Jordan vs Argentina is played in Dallas. This last date completes the tour of the three venues and defines the final positions of the group.
The calendar marks a clear route: three dates, six games and an itinerary that crosses three cities in 11 days. The programming requires tight logistics for the selections, with transfers between venues and balanced breaks.
