Democracy is in good hands! The INE certifies the authenticity of the electoral materials
Let’s celebrate transparency and security in our democratic processes! The National Electoral Institute (INE) has confirmed that all electoral packaging used on the recent day meets the highest standards of authenticity and quality. Did you know that every detail was carefully reviewed to guarantee your confidence? That’s how it is! Democracy is built with concrete actions, and today the INE demonstrates its commitment to excellence.
An impeccable process: this is how the security of the ballots was verified
The counselor Jorge Montaño shared in a session of the General Council how this historical verification was carried out. As of May 15, a random sample of 1,200 squares was selected (yes, you read that right, more than a thousand!), representing a perfect balance between basic, contiguous and special squares. Nothing was left to chance!
What security measures were checked? Prepare to be impressed! The ballots include everything from watermarks with the INE logo to visible and invisible fiber optics, inverted printing and even true color technology. Yes, as you hear it! Every detail was designed to protect your vote and ensure that every election is fair and transparent.
And here comes the best: of the eight security measures verified, six were detected in 100% of the ballots, while the remaining reached an incredible 99.6% and 99.9% effectiveness. This is what we call excellence in action!

But the INE did not stop there. It also reviewed 1,200 election records, ensuring they complied with measures such as microprinting, inverted printing and watermark screens. The result? 100% proven authenticity. Because every piece of paper, every signature and every number counts!
