Mexico makes history in world arbitration!
The Club World Cup 2025 will witness Mexican talent with five referees representing the country, led by the experienced César Ramos Palazuelos. Among the 35 central referees selected, Ramos is the only Mexican to perform this function, accompanied by assistants Marco Bisguerra and Alberto Morín. An achievement that makes all of national football proud!
Technology and new rules for a revolutionary tournament
This year, FIFA will implement key innovations: from experimental cameras on referees to adjustments to the rules to speed up the game. Goalkeepers will have only 8 seconds to retain the ball, with immediate penalties. In addition, fans will be able to live the experience in first person thanks to exclusive DAZN broadcasts, which will show perspectives never seen before.
Pierluigi Collina, president of the FIFA Referees Commission, highlighted: “It is a unique opportunity to reinvent the spectator experience”. Don’t miss this football milestone where Mexico plays a leading role!
